The IPCallBox Branch and Branch 2+2 units provide a feature rich solution set for VoIP applications using Basic Rate (2B+D) ISDN interfaces.
The IPCallBox Branch can support both SIP and H.323 VoIP call signalling protocols and is equipped with state of the art voce compression resources that support upto 8 VoIP sessions. Each IPCallBox Branch unit has six BRI interfaces, two fixed NT (terminal facing) interfaces, two fixed TE (network facing) interfaces and two interfaces that are configurable in software.The configurable interfaces can be set as terminal or network facing giving configurations such as:-
The IPCallBox Branch 2+2 has all the features of the classic IPCallBox Branch unit , but is lower cost and only supports two fixed NT (terminal facing) interfaces and two fixed TE (network facing) interfaces and a maximum of 4 VoIP sessions.
The IPCallBox unit's extensive feature set allows operation with multiple service providers simultaneously , as well as automatic failover between service providers or ISDN interfaces in the event of a service issue. Equipped with two Ethernet ports it also offers the choice of multiple IP paths for call delivery with the ability to dynamically switch the IP paths in real time in the case of an IP connectivity issue.
