The latest release has been enhanced to provide various Military Features that are expected by customers in the UK and Europe.
The ISDN interfaces are capable of synchronising the ISDN bit clocks between two units across the asynchronous
IP packet network to ensure that ISDN 64 Kbps data calls are carried across the IP Network without bit errors due to overrun or
underrun at the ISDN interfaces. This requirement is especially important when working with ISDN based encrypted telephones such as the BRENT range of encrypted telephones.
Various versions of the Selex gateway have been produced ranging from a single ISDN , Single FXS , Single Ethernet port version
to a fully equipped version which supports two Basic Rate ISDN interfaces, six analogue FXS ports and incorporates a 4 port Ethernet
switch. A single gateway can provide the telephony an Ethernet connectivity for a small operational post. |
